Simon Pegg Joins John Landis In New Film

Burke and Hare is the name of the latest film from director John Landis. The project, first announced last fall, is generating steam. Shooting is expected to begin very soon and Dread Central reports Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Star Trek) is the first to join the cast.

Written by Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft, Burke and Hare is based on a true story and follows two 19th-century grave robbers who find a lucrative business providing dead bodies for an Edinburgh medical school.
