An international trailer for Summit’s Red has debuted and will be opening in theaters on October 15th.

The Robert Schwentke-directed action comedy stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Karl Urban, Mary-Louise Parker, Brian Cox, Julian McMahon and Richard Dreyfuss.

In the film, based on the D.C. Comics graphic novel by Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer, Frank (Willis), Joe (Freeman), Marvin (Malkovich) and Victoria (Mirren) used to be the CIA’s top agents – but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.

The Hobbit rumor-mill has cranked into overdrive this month. We’ve already heard that Aragorn might be back and that director Guillermo Del Toro will have a cameo in the LOTR prequel.

Now Aint It Cool is reporting that Scottish actor Brian Cox is a “major contender” to play one of the thirteen dwarves who join Bilbo on his quest. The actor is perhaps most famous for playing William Stryker in X2 and Hannibal Lecktor in Manhunter.

AICN’s scooper doesn’t specify which pint-sized middle-earther Cox is being lined up for, but the most obvious role would be bumbling dwarf leader Thorin Oakenshield. Studio New Line hasn’t confirmed the story.
