Two series mainstays return in a new trailer for Team Ninja‘s notorious fighting franchise.

The video below shows a brief match between the silver-haired assassin Christie and the Russian military commando Bayman. The stage is called Hot Zone, an urban battlefield that allows players to launch their opponent into certain background elements, such as a crashing helicopter and incoming RPG. All in all, it looks very Dead or Alive-ish.

Risen 2 is a fantasy RPG from Piranha Bytes, the creators of the Gothic series. You play the game as a one-eyed, unnamed pirate, taking on all sorts of sea monsters and scallywags. Some abysmal combat sinks Game Informer’s review score a bit, but it sounds like there are still some interesting elements in the game.

Blizzard Entertainment has released another weekly class spotlight video for Diablo 3. The latest trailer focuses on the Monk, a brand-new class that can kill a demon with the palm of his hand.

The launch site for D3 will be updated soon with additional information on the Monk, including a short story. Blizzard plans to do this for every class between now and the game’s May 15th debut.

Almost certainly featuring higher resolution and more detailed visuals, thanks to the PC’s superior horsepower, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will also feature a new section of Lordran to explore, and undoubtedly die in, compete with new enemies and bosses, some of which can be seen in this trailer. These menacing new foes include Artorias of Abyss and the Chimera of Tomb.

The Prepare to Die Edition will also feature new weapons, armour and NPCs, and an improved online matchmaking system, something that the original console iteration failed to get right.

Scruffy McGhee says: Now there may finally be a reason for Hassan to play Bethesda‘s smash hit video game! What say ye comrades?!

The voice-command feature that had been joked about for Bethesda‘s hit RPG will actually be coming to the Xbox 360 as a free title update. You’ll be able to execute more than 200 commands in Skyrim via Kinect voice recognition.

Bethesda also mentions that Kinect support leads the way for a bunch of Xbox 360 exclusive add-ons that will include new quests, locations and other features.

Capcom has released two new gameplay videos for their upcoming action-RPG, Dragon’s Dogma. Both the videos show plenty of in-game footage. Combat has been shown, and it looks pretty good- brutal and bloody is the way to go.
